Well, you asked for low price HP and TQ. You are driving a car that has a 4 cylinder engine. They generally don't "mix."

Default please please

but is putting in a performance camshaft, roller rocker arm stud, MSD coil pack + NK spark plug wire, and performance piston and connecting rod(maybe not, cause it's a noob neon). is this will be less than a 1000?.........if it is maybe i'll get the cylinder head rebuilt also. so are these stuff will increase HP and torque.....i just want to try to working on a noob 4 cylinder with lose valve lifter first.... see how good i am with it, before i can move on to srt-4 next year.....so am looking for advice the car is 2001 neon es, with 2.5" racing header + custom dual pipe exhaust + 3" intake, and the rest are stock

With all of that, you will probably need a standalone computer system on top of that. There's at least $500 alone just for that. For the other parts, I'm not going to search around the internet for prices, lol. You can do that. Once you know the prices, if you are doing the work, you'll know if it's less than $1,000. If you aren't going to do the work, figure the average shop prices ranging from probably $60/hr to $100/hr.

Seems it has gone down a bit in price for the actual MegaSquirt ECU.

Being a MegaSquirt, this page should be applicable to the above:

Another thing to check, is for emissions legality where you live. I don't think the MegaSquirt is legal anywhere, but tons of people use it.

You can do a complete mag swap for under a 1k.

You get a much better flowing head, a new intake manifold with two runners and a milder cam.

The only problem is that it takes some time to hunt down for these items and there good for about 15hp
