The wires won't make a big difference for you. I've heard that NGK's are really good plugs for neons. Just stay away from platinum plugs, neons don't like them...well thats what i've read from like every other neon owner who has tried them.
I have a set of MSD wires on my 2003 SXT. I also have the MSD blister coil and I'm running Bosch Platinum Plus 4 plugs. I haven't really noticed a difference in performance or gas mileage. I'm curious though.....why do people say that Neons don't like the platinum plugs. Kinda makes me wonder if I should change them....lol.
ok this is the second post ive read about the plat. plugs.......where can i find the ngk's?
most any parts stores will carry them. simply ask for some NGK spark plugs for the neon and theyll bring em out for ya. NGK V-powers. they are quite nice plugs.. i run them and nothing else now. ive ran autolites, plat+4s, champions, and these. id still be running the champions but theyve been having some quality issues for the past year or so (like, the plugs literally turning into two pieces or more)
