the sounds you describe tho, have easily been solved by many people due to the piping even jut lightly vibrating against something.
the air reverberating would NOT sound like how you describe it.
i know you know your car, but im just sayin that every single person ive talked to thats experienced the SAME sound.. has fixed it one way or another.

Well I have decided to return it. There is a guy that I work with that built his Chevelle from the ground up and it runs in the low 12s on the .25. He looked at it and we are at a loss. I wrapped the whole thing (where it goes through the fender well) in foam, dynamat, even a freaking wristband!!! It still makes it at certain RPMs, but I saw that another company, (Iceman I think) makes CAIs JUST for the Magnum 2.0 engine. So I think that I am going to get ones of those. Plus, this one is chrome, and I want to go with Blue.
Thanks for the tips though

Oh yeah, and I looked man, it is not touching anything. Not the fenderwell, not the metal on the car, nothing. I am at a loss, I guess it is just one of those things. I do have a question though. Does putting in a new throttle body add to power at all? Or is is just for show. And how difficult is it?
Thanks

No it's not just for show. It does add horsepower and it'll add more the more you work on you intake/exhuast parts of you car, because they all work together. It's really not that hard it's really just a bunch of bolts and the throttle cable...this will give you some inside

just keep in mind that the 2nd gen intake setup is different from the 1g..
the 60mm tb for the 2gs does provide some gains, i just cant remember how much.. ill have to look around again later for some dyno comparisons.

hrm. thats strange that you are still getting that noise.. kinda baffles me really by the way you describe it. hopefully the iceman doesnt make that resonance noise for you as well.

Yeah I was just using that to show him a little about it. I don't know too much about the 2g so that's why the post was a little vague
