i have a 96 neon and i am using my same wiring harness from the 96 but i am putting the 2000 neon engine in my car and was wondering if anyone knows what sensors are different besides the camshaft sensor any help is greatly appreciated thanks

To find the answer you are looking for, you'll have to find someone that knows both generation of cars and what sensors/systems each used. That's most likely the biggest problem you'll encounter trying to get the answer.

 

i know i heard of only 1 other person ever doing a 1st gen swap or to a second gen swap but i cant find the info i need so i guess ill go in blindsided and see as i go along thanks for trying to help me tho

not right now i cant afford to buy it i had already ran out and bought alot of new sensors water pump and all the extra goodies so im kinda low on funds right now

 

Yeah, I hear you. Currently doing a low-budget overhaul on the V8 Bronco. That crap adds up, though I do need a new harness for it.

 

yah it doesnt help because i am doing this swap with the neon after the weather lets up lol...and i am in the process of upgrading my z28's motor and i have to replace the harness cuz the original owner hacked it all up and some stuff dont work on it because of that so im kinda tight on money and also trying to find out why my 99 eclipse is knocking really loud at 90k because it wasnt beat on and i have no clue wat happened
