Default Fuse warning

My daughter's 2001 Dodge Neon has developed a problem all of a sudden. She said that the word "fuse" was flashing in the area of her odometer and that her car was beeping at her. She also said that her radio/cd player stopped working as well as her interior dome light and her horn. All other lights are working and the car runs fine. I am guessing that it's probably just a fuse, but she is away at school and I am trying to troubleshoot the issue for her. Is there one fuse that controls all of these things?

Thanks for any help that might be provided.

Try replacing the dome light. If that goes out, it can cause "fuse" to be displayed.

Thats the fuse in the hood.. open it up.. find the fuse box right side lift that up.. theres a fuse with a yellow tab you gotta pry up.. replace that and BOOM radio everything is back to normal.. i know this because i forgot to put it down and the thing gave me that fuse notification crap..

The dumb thing is that there are many things that can cause "fUSE" or whatever it is to be displayed. Blown dome light, bad door switch, bad/dead battery, an actual fuse (who knew?), a relay...

The same thing happened last weekend to my daughters 2005 neon. Fuse warning light on dash was on and car would not start. She said it happened a couple days prior but then it eventually started. All fuses were ok but we got a buzzing ignition relay under the hood fuse box. Swapping relays but the buzzing remained at the same spot. Had to go to a mechanic. He found the ground cable under the battery tray was super corroded and he replaced it to fix.

the main cables on these as well as the back of the PDC are VERY COMMON places for green disease(corrosion)
