Default Brakes sticking!

I have a '02 Dodge Neon and whenever I brake the rear passenger side wheel seems to get lock up. I push on the gas and it will eventually let go but I know this isn't good for my engine. Sometimes if I press all the way down when braking, the locking is avoided. Though it's hard when making a left turn to push all the way down. HELP! Could this be the caliper?

Default Thanks!

Thank you everyone for your help. I made it home on Friday but almost immediately I started leaking what I assume was brake fluid (it was a red rusty color). I think a line of some sort burst. I am taking her in on Mon.

Do you have drums or rotors on your rear wheels. It sounds like yuou have a bad brake cylinder and when you pulled up on the E-brake they automatically adjusted wrong. My suggestion is if you havew drums take it somewhere to have it fixed, they are a pain to work with. (rotors also have the same equipment on the rear brakes except behind the rotor.) either way it sounds like a good brake job will fix you problem.

A rusty red color? Brake fluid should be clear, and then it will turn black as it gets old.

Unless its cleaning the rust off the drums/rotors.

It looks like it wasn't my brakes at all! For some reason my radiator had crack in it causing my transmission fluid to mix with my coolant. I was lucky to get it in when I did. My transmission was salvaged!
