Hello, new member here. I just picked up a 2001 Neon SE for my Daughter and the washer bottle has a small split it in it. A replacement bottle is hard to find! No luck on eBay yet and I can't for the life of me find one online at a parts store. I may be able to pick one up at a junkyard where I found an '05, but it's not easy to get to the bottle when the wheels are off and the car is in the mud!

Any ideas?

 

The only option you have left is the dealer by the sound of it. You probably don't want to know what they would charge if they could even get it. A parts store will most likely not carry a part like that, no matter which one you go to.

 

Pulled the bottle this morning and found a pin hole. Of course it had to be near the bottom. I roughed it up a bit, cleaned the area and applied a good spot of 2 part epoxy. Should be just fine as I've done wonders with good epoxy!

 

Yeah, especially if it's just a little hole. There's quite a bit of products out there to patch up plastic.
