i have a 2000 dodge neon es 4 dr 4.0 with 140,000 miles and recently it starrted jumping when you give it gas i dont know if the tranny needs to replaced or if a support gave out from the high milage can some one help me

 

i would check your plugs and wires....when was the last time you changed them? i have an 05 and changed the plugs and it would try to bounce everytime i gave it gas. it ended up being a fault in a plug and bad wiring i would just check it out

 

What do you mean by "jumping?" does it make any noise when it jumps?
