Timing Belt change procedure... 2002 Neon
So, I have everything of and am ready to put it all back together. what a job geting the right side motor mount and the engine motor mount bracket off...... If they had only made those bolts alittle shorter !!! On both the mount and the bracket, or given us another inch between the two,,, would have made that part of the job alot easier !!!!!
Question for those who have been thru this before......
When I put it back together, is it better to bolt the motor mount to the frame and torque it then put the bracket on the engine and then lower the engine down into position OR should I leave the motor mount in the big hole in the frame it sets in and not bolt it up, so I can rotate it while I bring the engine down into position then put the bolts into it and tighten it to the frame ??
Is there enough space there to lower the engine into place with the motor mount bolted to the frame ????
Thanks....
