Hey everyone. I have a 2000 dodge neon, and the sunroof didnt work when i got it. I recently took down the head liner to see why the sunroof was not working. I noticed the switch was unplugged, so i assumed this would be the problem... plugged it back in, and no go. when you hit the button, the sunroof opened fine, but would not close. it makes a grinding sound when closing it. I managed to get it closed. I took down the motor and found my problem. the cables are stripped! the local dodge dealer cannot order in just the cables. they can order the hole kit for $800 but this is way too high. after searching almost everywhere i cannot find anywhere that carries them. Does anyone know where i can get replacement cables?
