05 SXT- I noticed my accordian air tube between filter and air intake was collapsed. Took it off and found plastic rings turned sideways inside. Do they get uprighted directly back in the middle? If not, then where? Any thoughts or help?

 

? what do you mean plastic rings? sounds like someone added those in there possibly?

 

don't know where they came from. i eventually found 6 total. with some soapy water, i wedged them back in place. the best i can figure, they prevent the air tube from collapsing.

 

I'm with mjs up there, I had a slight MAP sensor problem earlier today which was causing the tube to collapse.. I saw no rings in mine.
