Looking for a performance chip. any at a good price with good results?

 

Last I heard there isn't one yet for the 2nd gens

 

especially the '03+ with the NGCs

 

I heard there are chips (I don't know for which year Neons) but, they wont do much at all. Reprogrammed PCM is the best way to go and u don't have that option.

 

Well, doesn't that just suck! I don't want to have to send my ECU down to Diablo Sport Chips and have them make one. I need my car on a daily basis, but they'll do it for around $230. Thanks anyways, guys.

 

if the NGC was so easy to reprogram, it woulda been done already... which last i checked, it hasnt.

 

www.howellautomotive.com has ecu's for the neons. Im not sure 4 what years. What ever you do dont get a chip that garentees 20 hp its bull ****. they sell u a 50 cent product for 20$. check this pic out. I wanted to see if it worked and it didnt. Afetr 2 months my check engine light came on. I took the chip out and reset my pcm and its been fine since. I didnt even think there was a chip in it untill i drilled it out lol. the box was filled with like liquid plastic. It was a big box for such a little chip. I asked for my money back and they never answered me. O well.
