Something you all should read, regarding the NGC (next generation controller - the "ecu" of the 03+ neons)

i know its 5 pages or more.. but seriously, it explains so much more than i can on what the ngc is and how it works, and why modding for performance is so tough with the NGC neons..

I haven't read through the whole thing yet, but is this the same for the basic neon, becasu they are talking about SRT's?

yes, same for ALL '03-'05 neons.

 

I havent had any problems or loss in power with my srt exhaust it takes off pretty nice now and shes louder than most but not annoying. Im having somuch fun with it. So my ngc is ignoring my srt exhaust or maybe its because I have a auto. I have sweet performance in my sxt now.

 

i guarantee, its not "ignoring" the exhaust. remember, the butt dyno isnt accurate
and like id said, and is said in that thread, you will gain some power in some areas, but the NGC will try to keep the PEAK power the same.

 

btw. can someone sticky this? it should be.

 

Dont have any lose in horse power with my rt on and dont really care about it race ok my sxt and ill love it no matter what.
