I have an neonle 2002 and the checking light comes on when the car stumbles and almost dies. I got the codes p0340 and p0420 and they come on at the exact time. What is the porblem(s) and how can I fix them?

 

remember to trouble shoot the first listed code as this is the first code. Even if you get both the first one set will be listed first and this one should be corrected first. Note the second but trouble soot the first one first. Would hate to spend money on parts that were OK. If it is still under warraty then I would suggest Dodge first.

 

p0340 is no cam signal at the pcm - no fuel sync
p0430 is 1/1 catalytic converter efficiency - efficiency below the reqired level

The cam sensor has an IC in it which may have **** the bed...
