Default trie sizes

Will 205/50/r15 fit stock rims for a neon, someone on the forum said they would, my stock rims are 15 inches. The stock tires are 185/60/r15.

The 205/50's will fit on your stock rim which should be 6 inches wide. This is a bit of a squeeze and 7 inch width is better suited. If your worried about that go with some 195/55's, they will work fine. I have seen a lot of people squeeze a 225 on the stock neon rims but this way overkill for the road. If you want to upgrade to some better wheels, kosei K1 racing wheels in a 15 x 7 are great. They weigh about 13 lbs a piece and cost around $140 each. The first thing I did for my neon was to get rid of the 185's and bought the kosei's with some 195/55 kumho ecsta supra 712's for the street so I could use my stock alloys for racing. Currently I have 205/50R15 kuhmo victoracers on the stock 15 x 6 alloys for race and 205/50R15 712's on the 15 x 7 kosei's for the street. I could fit the 225/50R15 victoracers on the stock alloys but I would be able to run as much camber as I do without rubbing the tire on the strut.

Thanks for the info. I try and get the 205/50/r15 but if not the 195/55/r15 will do fine.
