Actually the brand new 2010 and 2011 gt mustangs are better than the older gts the v6 Im lookin at has 305 hp stock and thats way enough speed for me. THat one in the commerical the gunmetal color one looks amazing same one Im lookin at . 31mpg pretty amazing for a stang. v6s are alot better and stronger than they use to be in these stangs.

People try to race me all the time. Its kind of annoying actually. Whenever I get a different car I am going to leave it looking stock so it doesn't get so much attention. I guess I have grown up. Unfortunately I was having a bad day a little while ago and I beat a Lincoln Navigator. I felt really dumb that I sunk to their level. I beat myself up about it all day after I did that. Luckily nothing happened other then him in my mirrors. But I would agree just ignore them.

The older body styles were underpowered. Agreed; especially the V6 models. Good luck doing that with the new ones. Ford finally got people want more power in them, regardless. The GT's come factory with over 400HP. The "Cobra" models are going to be even more powerful when they come out.

Yeah the v6s gts come with 305 hp and the v8s come with over 400hp. I want the v6 because of the 31mpg and 305 hp is way enough for me .

In my op every style of new stang is awesome no matter if its a v6 or v8 or cobra. Just have to decide what color I want sterling grey metallic, ebony black , or red candy metallic. Or I may go away from a car and get a lifted ram or jeep rubican.

Ok seems like we have gone off topic . Too stay on topic yeah it gets so old anyone wanting to race me seeing the way my sxt looks like no just the rear. Why would I want to ruin my car or get someone or me hurt or killed. I rather just cruise around and show off my sxt instead of racing it.

Heavy compared to...[sub]compact cars like Neons? Sure, obviously. Heavy compared to Camaros, Challengers...it's main competition; no. It is still lighter, and costs less. A 305 HP V6 car that weighs 3,600 LBS, has a 2.73 gear ratio (insanely high IMO, but that's how the gas mileage is that high no doubt), that does the 1/4 mile in the 14 second range isn't really "slow." Those are 1/4 mile times are only ~0.7 seconds slower than the 6.1L V8 SRT-8 Challenger that costs MUCH more ($42,000 vs. $22,000), from a 3.7L V6. So, heavy and slow? Not by any means really.
