I just picked up a auto transmission from the junk yard that came out of a car that had 78,000 mile. I am almost done with the change and I have a question about progrming the transmission. Does it need to be done I have read that it does but I called the local Dealer and he said that I sould drive it and if it shifts without any problems that I would be ok. I just do not want to ness anything up I have about 10 hours in this change and about 2 more tonight and don't want to do it again.
