I recently bought a 2005 dodge neon sxt and its still under warranty. When I turn the car on it starts perfectly but then it starts to misfire just a bit while idling. Its quite noticeable when you turn the ac on, but once you turn it off its not as bad While idle). After the engine has been running for a bit and is up to temperature the misfire problem goes away and it runs just fine. Anybody know what is causing this? It is kind of annoying and embarrassing! Thanks

 

I had a somewhat similar problem. Spark plug wires were shot on mine. The wires should be changed every other spark plug change (60K miles for the wires, 30K for the plugs). If your wires and possibly plugs are older than the mileage listed, that wouldn't be a bad place to start.
