Today I noticed that my hood rattles. The latch doesn't hold the hood tight anymore. No idea how this happened, but I can't figure out how to adjust the stupid latch or tighten it up. Anyone know how?

 

I would first try to adjust the stops, circled in red in pic below. Turn both out about 1/4 turn at a time and see if it get's better. If that don't help, I have found the easiest way to adjust the actual latch is to pull the front bumper cover off. Before you loosen the latch scribe around the bolts, that way you have a starting point to go by while adjusting it.

 

Yeah I tried adjusting the stops already, didn't make a lick of difference. The hood all of a sudden started looking misaligned & rattling yesterday, with the front lip overhanging the bumper about a half centimeter or so with a big gap, like an overbite. The passenger side headlight doesn't line up flush anymore either. I'm starting to wonder if some douche backed into me in a parking lot or something cause it was not like that the day before yesterday.
