just curious, as i'm an old-school mechanic and am used to seeing cars charging at 14.0-14.5 but my neon is 13.55. has a new diehard battery, belts, all grounds and positive connections cleaned and checked.Just seems allittle low to me. at full draw it maintains 13.52

I am about the same as you, brand new battery and all grounding wires replaced with 2g wire. I was confused thinking something was wrong when I replaced the battery and alt and it was that low, but nope, its correct

 

mine charges at 13.2-14v depending on the battery state and electrical draw

 

thats about where mine runs. if i have the ac on high it drops a little.

 

My 4 year old battery is at 13.75 volts sitting at idle.
