I have a 2002 dodge neon with a 41te transmission that just went out. Will any 41te transmission work in my car or are there differences from year to year that I need to look for?

 

2002-2005 are all the electronic transmissions.

 

I really need some info on this. I'v been looking all day yesterday could not find anything. Is there any other transmission I could put in my 2002 neon? I'v read that possibly I could put a 2000 transmission if I replace the transmission computer?

You asked about the 41TE transmission. Those are the only years in Neons that will replace the 41TE, as those are what came with them. The 2000-2001 transmissions are the 31TH; a non-overdrive hydraulic transmission.
