going back to the headlight issue does anyone know why the headlights for a 2003 neon will not work for the 2000 neon are they shaped slightly off or is a wiring issue... i dont like the look of the turn signal on the 2000 so i want to upgrade to projectors and want the turn signal incorporated??

Yes, they are shaped differently. If you want 03-05 headlights, you need an 03-05 bumper.

As far as I know (have read on here), you just need the new headlights and bumper. Perhaps someone else who knows can confirm. Either way, there are already some threads on this, or you should just start your own.

No just the front bumper hoods are not much different on 00-02s than 03-05s.

Trying to finish the lights now. Where did you guys mount the ballast for the driver side? If you have a pic that would be helpful too. I have the stock air box in still if it matters. Thinking im gonna have to mount it on the pass side or fire wall? thanks.

A location for the ballast? How long are the wires? How far back can you place it?
