The molding is there IMO to break up the door. They are not exactly small doors, and when you take the molding off, it just looks odd. That's my thoughts on it.

i was just wondering if the projectors you bought, did they come with new bolts to hold them in place or did you use the stock bolts, because one of the bolts on my neon has rusted off, the only reason i looked was because i read somewhere else on the forums if you dont change the lights or anything they could, and sure enough.... the long bolt on the drivers side did indeed rust off....

No they did not come with new hardware. I reused the stock bolts.

I'm wondering where to hook the LEDs in my dad worries about hooking en into the parkling lights because he doesn't want water to get in to the wiring an rustthem out and ruinthe lights.so I'm wondering about any other ideas. Maybe a relay and switch?

When you follow the alignment procedure, you'll be able to see which direction moves the beams up and down.

It's like any aerodynamic headlight (headlights without aiming pads like old square/round glass ones had), yes.

Here's a pretty decent guide I found real quick. Has pics too: http://www.a******ia.com/Aiming_Head...cr20010801ha/1

Okay....apparently a u t o m e d i a isn't allowed to be typed? Replace the stars with the appropriate letters.

My led's are wired to switched power, the halo's are tied to the parking lights. I used waterproof coonectors on everything so I could remove the lights without have to cut a bunch of wires. If you are worried about water/ moisture use some heatshrink and or electrical tape on the connections.
