Hi everyone. I'm brand new to this forum.

I recently purchased a 2003 Neon 4 speed auto that needed a new engine. I just finished replacing the engine and I got everything back where it is supposed to go except the groundstrap on the negative battery cable. I don't remember exactly where it went. Will someone please tell me where this is supposed to go? A pic would be nice if it isn't too much trouble. I want to make sure everything is put back where it came from.

There are two grounds that go to the battery. There is the one on the driver side fender and the other goes to...somewhere else. I can get pics tomorrow if you want.

 

my 02 the ground is right behind the trans fluid tube I believe. looking at the tube it would be just to the left.

 

i attach mine to the bolt that holds the starter on, and the other to the fender.. Just as long as the engine is tied to the body.
