okay guys I'm completely baffled, got the heating issue solved but now i've got major problems. My oil light constantly comes on but the oil level is good and now the car shuts of and it seems as if it's a lack of fuel but I'm at a half of tank. I let the car sit a bit and sometimes it starts and runs fine but most of the time it starts for about 2 minutes and shuts back off, any ideas?

oil pressure sending switch is shot or the wiring to it is bad
just a hunch

this precieved condition of no oil could make the computer think to save this engine i better turn off the fuel.

The oil pressure sensors are a common fix on these cars. I've never heard of these cars shutting off when the oil light comes on though...

Behind the engine. You need a 1 1/16" deep socket to get it out. It's kind of a PITA, but then again, I'm a bigger guy so reaching around everything wasn't too easy for me. Like a 3 or so out of 10, just because it's a PITA to get to.

not hundred precent sure if the neon shares this failsafe (most likely may not) but Ive seen higher end cars, and construction equipment have this protection feature to prevent running the engine without oil pressure.

It comes with a very small amount of thread sealant on it (the Dodge one does anyways). Did you put any [extra] thread sealant on the threads? If not, that and just make sure it is snugged well.
