They suck - worse than the stock ones!!! I'm looking into carbotech pads - expensive but I think they will be worth it....

i hear the hawk brake pads work well but wear out twice as fast and put out twice as much brake dust...that is bad if you have some rims you want to show off..but good if you don't care!

how much pressure are they putting there brakes through, i drive fairly aggressive, but brakes lasted me since i got my neon in the end of 2002 till around the beginning of may 2005. I dont apply heavy pressure on my brakes unless i need to stop or slow down all of a sudden. Usually i slow down slowly and downshift that takes pressure of the brakes especailly in the rain. If i drive like this with performance pads like Hawk, wont they last longer because they can handle more pressure and heat and are made of a better and stronger especailly with ferro carbon over ceramic or semi-metallic and others?

Nah they have just been ****ty from the moment I took them out the box...

- sloppy tolerances, the fit was marginal to say the least
- they shift around when they get old cus the springs wear quickly
- they tear hell out of stock rotors
- they wear fast
- you dont stop very well the first time if they get wet, takes a couple before they feel normal again
- they dont take well to a good long application from 120+ in hard-braking to about 35 mph coming into your fav kink

I beat the **** out of my stock pads and they were great the whole time - didnt last very long though - they were always up for a good reaming from over 100 and would be ready to do it again before you could get even the car back up to speed...maybe my stock pads were diff cus its an acr...I have never seen anything where they were even diff

A quick check would be to ask you local Dodge dealer if the had different part numbers.
