Unhappy PLEASE HELP!! Having some Transmission problems

Hello

Well i just bought A 2002 Dodge Neon ES, I bought it with a bad Transmission so I replaced the old one with one i found at a junk yard.

So now the new transmission is in and the car is driving perfectly and shifts through all the gears with no problem.

Now the problem is that at slow speeds and when comming to a stop the transmission "Jerks" forward really badly some times, it only does this when I am comming to a stop. Other than that it has no other problems.

I have changed the "transmission shift solonoid" and still there is the same problem, the old transmission did the same exact thing " Jerking forward when comming to a stop" Its seem as though it only does this comming out of 2nd into first.

Two transmissions cant have the exact same problem?

if anyone can point me in the right direction I would really appreciate it!

Thank you for your time

so your saying it jerks forward when you downshift from second to first? mine sometimes does the same thing, so i only ever downshift to second and then put it in neutral to brake to a stop. is this an automatic or manual transmission?

2 different transmissions same problem. that means there is something common to the two of them. like they are both bad (doubtful) or the computer/wiring is causing the problem (likely)

Mine does the jerking thing for a week or two out of the blue, then stops again for a long while. The problem is Dodge making a transmission...
