Maybe you mean 200sx? 300zx? 240SX? 280Z? 180sx? 350z? SENTRA SER maybe? Nissan has a lotta diff ones to get confused on but maybe you mean a 300zx...could have mistyped it maybe.

what version of 300zx, and what do you have done to your car... theres no way you should be smoking 300zx's with a neon unless the driver of the 300 had no cluewhat he was doing. i think even a 240sx could take our neons, my friend used to have one of those. pretty quick, and handled like a mother

 

If its a KA24DE nismo 240sx then no it wont......if its a sr20det yes it will or even the DE now if its the RB26dETT better go get a couple of turbos and Nitrous and a motor in the back or maybe just a jet engine ......LOL

the ka motor has like 180hp, but crappy torque, ive taken those easily. As for the sr20det, there great motors for novice drivers, but why would you drop a 4 banger turbo engine into a fairlady, they have an I6 already, you either beef that up, drop in a rb25 or 26 det, or u drop the vq35 power plant that resides in the american skyline or new fairlady Z.

 

that 300zx was probabaly a automatic non-turbo verion, because i've driven an old Z before and it was hold on tight FUN. (1982 280zx efi 5-spd non turbo) i'm sure that the handling has only gotten better through the years but that straight-6 could kick some serious ***. that was actually on a test drive cause the dude was selling it but wanted about twice what it should cost so i saved up even more $$$ and in fall 2004 bought a 2000 dodge neon 5-spd and have been fairly impressed with what a little 2.0 SOHC 16valve can do.
