I would go with the 50% reduction in shift. Even Maddog suggests the 58% for the SRT-4.

I have the 72%. I wouldn't trade it for anything; it's so quick and direct.

WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Is the shifter itself any shorter? Gonna order one next week, donno if I want the 50% or the 72%. gonna get Booger Bushings also, heard there a must! I pulled the stock shift **** off and got a Momo Raptor ****, but the OEM boot isn't long enough, so theres about an inch of the shaft thats visible between the boot and the bottom of the ****

For the neon it is just stock height. You will want booger bushings that is for sure it will help make the shifting a lot smoother.

Well I say get the 72%. It's reduced throw in all directions but you can still find the gears easily. It's perfect for me.

ok, question #2: will I need to get new cables or anything for the Maddog STS or will the stock OEM ones work?

Stock OEM cables work with the shifter, just get the booger bushings and you are good to go.

Be gentle with the cables ends though. The tips where the bushings sit in are plastic and CAN BREAK.
