Unhappy 03 dead

K, so i have been having a pretty rough idle lately but once driving it quits sputtering. I put off working on it cause its cold outside. Got a heater yesterday and then today driving down the road running fine and i pulled up to a light, went to go and its dead. didn't shake, make a bang or clunk.... nothing just died.

When i turn the key the fuel pump fires up and it turns over. but I'm not sure if its really turning over, the starter is going but it doesn't feel as if the motor is rotating, usually u can feel the motor shaking, it just doesn't sound or feel like the motor is cranking.

Pulled the codes and got P0303 (cyl. 3 misfire) and P0344 (crankshaft position sensor)

So here is my delema, seems to me the motor is dead and needs internal work, lucky for me I have a parts car with a motor that has less the 70k.

Should i just swap motor, or does anyone else have any ideas what it might be?

Crankshaft position sensor or the wiring. The car won't run correctly, or at all, if this is not working.

Bad plug or wire in cylinder 3. You can test the misfire by switching the plug and wire with it's sister cylinder (2). If the misfire moves to cylinder 2, get some plugs and wires. Plugs should be changed every 30K and wires every 60K.

Have you still switched them to see if it moved the misfire to another cylinder?
