I had my sx2.0 over 200km/h.You guys are sure its limited to 120mph. I read in wikipedia that they raised the limiter from 108mph to 130mph around 1995 Pretty sure the limiter was 130mph. Not sure I would like to reach that speed as she was starting to shake and getting a bit of a speed wobble on stock 14" tires.
I was sure impressed with the car. It was a lot of fun to drive. I particularly enjoyed the corners!!! And it still got great mileage.

In 1995, it was 130MPH for the R/T AFAIK.

 

The needle in mine drops about 1/4 inch or so below the 120 when it is wide open. In my truck, when the fuel cuts out, it jerks and bucks because there is no fuel. WOT in the neon, and there is NO feeling of the fuel being cut off. When I changed the axle in my pickup, the fuel cut off went from 94 mph to who knows. It now goes 110 without cutting out. The Neon is completely stock, and it was a rental for a Dodge dealer before we bought it.
