hi i have a 2001 dodge neon se and it has been starting to vibrate and shake real bad when accelerating... can this be caused by a bad catalytic converter? and what might the other causes be? i had all the engine mounts changed and still no change
any help would be grateful... thank you

 

not your cat. does it vibe n shake when you rev it up in neutral? or only in drive?
is it possibly a missfire?

when you changed the torque struts did you load them correctly? do you have the correct measurement? the motor must be supported a certain way when putting in those mounts as if it is not the motor will be in effect preloaded.
