Default p0700 code

k my wife's 2004 neon sxt tonight when she was coming home, i know from reading up on previous post i now it the tcm, so my question is would the temps maybe set this off because when i got home it was only 22 degrees and there was fress show so she drove it for about 2 miles then drove it back an hour later and it came on. then what is the best way to reset-it?

unplug battery for a few mins will reset the light.

P0700 is a generic transmission code could be alot of things(input/output sensors, range sensor, ect ect....) but dont condemn the TCM for a p0700 code
all p0700 is telling you is that you need to have the trans codes read, I would do this before trying to reset it, a trans shop will usually read the codes for you for free. find out what the real trans code is and post back.

Just to clarify, on NGC cars (2003-2005), the TCM is integrated into the PCM.
