Default Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement

Is it possible to replace *just* the drive belt tensioner of a 2000 Dodge Neon? I've called around and I can't seem to buy one. The only place that had one was the dealer who sold it as a set with the engine mount bracket assembly. $350 sounds *really* steep to replace a tensioner.

Yes. It is called an accessory belt tensioner pulley. Call a parts store. ~$30.

Cool, I bought a pulley and belt. I hope this does the trick, 'cause it looks like the whole engine needs to come out to install it. It would be a shame to do all the work just to find out the tensioner needs to be replaced too.

Thanks for the info.
