I just got sponsored fully for tires and maybe wheels. Was thinking about getting 18 inchers but heard 17s are way better. Gettin dunlop performance tires wheels are undecited.lookin at motegi or american racing want gunmetal or silver. Any other idea for wheels would be cool.
If you are gonna show the car, go 18's. If you are gonna use it as a daily driver, 16's or 17's. the bigger you go the less "meat" you are gonna have on the tires and the easier its gonna be to bend a rim and the rougher the ride is gonna be.
I have 17's on my car, and I couldn't imagine driving my car everyday on 18's where I live. It's rough enough on 17's. I use the stock rims for driving in winter.
I would stick with 17s...If your just showing off the car then get 18s. The bigger you go the heavier your car will get, which will be a factor if you plan to race it once in a while.
