Default Rain Rain..go away. There's a flood in my car!

Hi Everybody! (Geez I sound like Dr. Nick from the Simpsons)

Just picked up my Neon SXT not too long ago and as I was just starting to take a turn today water came pouring out from underneath the passenger side dashboard. The carpet and floor mat on that side is SOAKED. Has this happened to anyone? The car only has 80 miles on it. This is my second Neon (I had the 2000 Highline) and never experienced a problem like this.

Any help/advice/experience anyone can share would be great!

That sucks, sorry lol. I would say something is screwed up with the door jam, or there's a hole in the firewall lol.

Or maybe leaking from the windshield. I'd take it to the dealer and make them fix it.

dont really know about the second gen neons but i know that in chev products there is a drain in the cowl area under the windshield that sometimes get plugged, you might have to pop off the windshield wipers and remove the cowl cover to see if there is a drain in there that is plugged.

Well, I brought it back to my dealer (which is a great dealer! So glad I can say that) and demanded a new one. The car was soaked and I didn't want a rental while they figured out the problem and drained all the water out. End result..drove my new one off the lot just a little while ago this evening. Yay! Hope that problem was a one-time thing.

Thanks for all the advice everyone! The dealership couldn't believe how much water was in my car. Very bizarre.
