what are some good items to purchase for the 2.0l dodge neon for performance mods id deffenantly like to do a chip exhaust and possible a CAI and suggestions

 

Look in my signature and read the performance FAQ, or, use the search tool and search for "performance." 100's of threads with all of the information already there.

 

Chips dont work to well in neons more for the bigger engines like 6 or 8 cylinders that they actually respond to. Maybe the 1st gen neons also . 03-05 ecu do not like chips at all. I would just find yourself a nice exhaust like magnaflow or custom , A nice intake I got an ebay one Also modern has some nice mods or ebay . I have everything excpet for megasquirt or a turbo setup. Heres some ideas underpulley drive,header,aem adjustable cam gear,comp400cam,60mm tb and a indy intake manifold. I have some more but have to make a list of all my engine mods just did them in the last couple of mouths. Hope this helps.

 

with all that engine **** done...how much did it give you?

 

My sxts at 150 or a little more for hp could be more actually . Im just guessing until I have her dynoed soon like sometime in the spring. Im lookin into doing the srt turbo swap in the late spring also.

 

All of that for ~18 more HP? Good Lord...

 

I got the parts at a very nice price some new from modern before they got rid of some stuff and some from a friend that sold his sxt and also sold me some more stuff from it like the bc coilovers for 350bucks brand new everything engine wise is also going to powercoat some stuff in the spring with my powercoating gun. Im guessing 150hp didnt want to go overboard might be somewhat more than 150 .

Yeah I will let you know if I find any bcs for that price or around that price darth and chris I dont know about the powercoating thing going to try doing it my 1st time late spring or early summer.
