Default Is this normal for Neons?

Hey guys I've been wondering if neons idle at 600 rpm at a stop light? The car doesn't die and runs a little rough but other then that its okay. Its a 2005 35k car so wouldn't think it should be a major problem. I haven't changed the transmission fluid is low so idk if that could be causing the problem. Thanks A lot !!!

There have been a lot of threads on this lately. I'm not sure what the problem or solution is. I had the same problem a while back changed the plugs, wires and oil. Not sure if that is what fixed it or if it 'just went away' (haven't noticed it doing it lately).

Yeah try putting new plugs and wires in and I think that will fix the problem.

there are several locations. you have your vac hose that comes off of your cruise control and tees from there to your brake booster and you also have one that comes right off of the throttle body

Usually a vacuum leak will cause the car idle higher than normally.
