2004 Neon SXT Idler Puller Replacement

Anyone have an idea of what it should cost to have the idler pulley replaced..... AC/Power steering idler pulley that is.

The book says 2.4 hours, so that times whatever the shop charges per hour.

how do you replace the Drive Belt Tensioner?

The pulley can be replaced, the tensioner cannot. If the tensioner itself broke, you need an entire engine mount plate/bracket.

idler pulley replacement

how do you replace the idler pully? I have torn down the left side of the 2002 neons engine. got to the pulley and could not get a torx drive bit to break it loose? any suggestions?

Try soaking it with PB Blaster?
