I haven't; I know people who have though. The last time I went to the JY, there were no Neons with C/C otherwise I would have probably grabbed it.

I often wondered how hard it would be to add cruise to my SE..

I knew the SXT's came with cruise, and even it if was deleted, seems like most of the stuff would be there..

..but according to that PDF, looks like there are notes about wiring and stuff even if it's on a SE model...

The only thing they left out besides the actual C/C unit, was the speed control switch. Doesn't make too much sense to make 4 different MFS set-ups. Make one with and without fogs, and then simply bolt-on another switch for C/C.

This is a great thread. Primarily because I really really really wish my `03 SXT had cruise! I vow to add it one day.

I found the PDF somewhere that has the parts list and the installation instructions. I'll see if I can't find out where it is on what computer/storage device and upload it.

If you just look back in this thread, i posted the link to the PDF (probably where you got it to begin with )

here's me quoting my 2nd or 3rd post from the begining of this thread, with said link.

still looks like a pretty straight forward install, but messing with that airbag assembly makes me nervous.....
- still haven't gotten to this project, the money i had set aside for it last year went to a dental bill my insurance decided they weren't gonna cover.

This is also a nice link for a guy who successfully installed the aforementioned kit on to his 2004 SRT-4:

Oh, and btw... the seller "mopar4less" who's listed on that link I just posted doesn't seem to be selling these cruise kits any longer.

That's likely, lol. I didn't read back through the thread after I saw the date.
Oh, that page that linked to an eBay seller with the CC kit was made 06/28/2008. Dodge probably stopped making the Neon kits awhile back as the Neon stopped being produced in 2005.

if anyone else is wondering about this project (yet another year on from the start of this thread) I recently checked with the parts dept again.(march 2013), the kit is no longer available, had them price the individual components - priced out to $513(Kit was $250)
googling around i found a dealer that sells on line(don't remember which one sorry), their prices for all the parts came to around $345 plus shipping...

anyone ever used an aftermarket cruise kit? the ones I've seen online all seem to come from the same manufacturer, and are totally electronic/mechanical, as apposed to the vacuum driven factory setup.
(something like $259 i believe)
