Default Spark plugs? Champion or NGK?

2004 Neon SE. 102K miles. I don't know when the plugs where changed....

Which plug do I get? Champion copper plus or NGK V Power.

I heard not to use platinum. I just want a safe option that's a good overall..

I know out mod darth would say just use champions but ngks are also just as good as champions and the powers arent much at all. I have had them both so either one will do the job.

I simply use the Champions because I can get them cheaper than the NGK's. I can get four Champion plugs for $8 and change. Either of those copper plugs will be fine.

I have the Bosch Iridiums in mine .. and the car runs like a champ with 116,000 miles. $7.99 a plug and you won't hear any complaints from me. I strongly believe you get what you pay for ...

Too "stockish?" Dodge doesn't make spark plugs? One copper plug says Champion on the side and another NGK. They are both very basic, copper plugs...

That being said, I don't get plugs that cheap out here. Remember, I live in Commi-fornia.

I am getting NGK V Powers for 1.99 a piece. I'll go with this. Champpion's are $1.79.

FYI Advance auto parts (if you order online & pickup in store) has a lot of coupon codes that you can use. Like $5 of order total of15, 10 of 30 etc. Just Google for Advance Auto parts promo codes.
I used their "Big35" code to get 35 bucks of my battery. Got their top of the line battery which was about 95 for ~55.

-That's what I did when I ordered all of the parts for my car. Timing belt kit including water pump and tensioner, serpentine belt, upper and lower radiator hoses, and tranny filter kit. All together cost me $227.24. If I would have walked into the store and got them over the counter, I would have spent $285.60!! The timing kit by itself was $208.99 at the regular price. A few cents here and there won't be worth it. But if you have a decent order to put in, DEFINITELY check out all of the coupon codes!

L8R,
Matt
