Sorry, I'm not sure, I've never had that done or even heard of it. My main point is just to make sure that your injectors are not plugged up and are spraying proper volumes. Again just a kick at the can. Let us know how it goes...curious to what's the issue.

So to remove the fuel rail and injectors.. should the fuel line to the rail be disconnected? Is that a easy thing or is it pressurized or something?. i recall on other cars disconnecting the fuel line wasn't easy.

Can the injectors be removed from the rail without disconnecting the fuel line?

If there is build-up, a fuel system cleaner like SeaFoam would help. If there are actual particles clogging them, they need to be taken apart.

Can someone answer the above? I might not want to disassemble the injectors themselves but at least remove them & clean.

You'll want to pull the FP relay and run the engine until it dies. Then, just as an extra precaution, depress the schrader valve on the fuel rail to ensure all of the pressure is completely gone. Make sure you cover that valve with a towel too; if there is pressure, it'll get you good if it isn't covered. As long as the pressure is gone, if you aren't servicing the fuel rail itself, you shouldn't have to disconnect it from the line.
