Default P1607 engine code

I got the service engine light a few seconds after starting my car. I cycled the ignition 3 times to get the code to display. I cleared the code by disconnecting the battery for a couple seconds. It did not come back for a little under a month, now it is back. I did not find this code on the recommended sites listed in the engine code post. After some searching it sounds like a computer or connection error for the engine temperature. I would like to check the wiring where is the pcm (computer)?

Near the driver's side headlight, mounted onto the radiator support.

Thank you darthroush. I did not find anything obvious, but the pcm has 4 connections and 3 are filled. And the wiring for the injectors is wrapped in electrical tape, seems kinda like someone worked on it before... Or are neons just like that? Where is the engine coolant temperature sensor? I have a lead that this code may deal with a strange temperature reading. Battling the electrical darkside:

No, no factory wiring uses electrical tape to hold connections together.

ENGINE COOLANT TEMP SENSOR
DESCRIPTION
The engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor threads into the rear of the cylinder head, next to the camshaft position sensor. New sensors have sealant applied to the threads.
