Question MSD coil pack, worth it? Opinions please!

Hey guys,
I've been browsing here for a while but registered finally. Just had a quick question. I just got an 04 SXT ATX and did a tune up on it recently @62k (had 57k when I got it). Got NKG plugs and BWD wires for it, that on top of a K&N air filter and oil change and I got a noticeably smoother, spunkier car. My question is this: Would it be worth upgrading the stock ignition coil pack to the MSD? And if I did, would I have to do any other mods or calibrate the PCM in any way?
I wanna do it just for fun and to add to my mod list, but at the same time I don't want to spend $80 on something that ain't gonna do sh*t, lol. Thanks in advance for your advice.
-Jeff

If you can get the MSD cheaper than an OEM replacement, go for it. If not, don't bother.

A related question. I just got an 04 SE with 102 K miles.

Someone in the other neon forums is selling a OEM wires & oem coil pack with 5 K miles on it. (10 bucks each)

Just wondering if coil packs go bad? any sense in changing them around 100K?

Right on. I only asked because the reviews of the MSD pack on Amazon were all really good. Almost everyone stated a noticeable gain in performance, but, that's why I came here. To ask auto peeps who aren't going to get a placebo effect from switching out spark packs =]

Couldn't hurt to buy them and keep 'em until needed for that price.

You don't need more spark until you start adding bigger items that require it.
