I just bought my sister in laws 2000 dodge neon and the #16 fuse under the hood keeps blowing when you turn the key on. Can some one help with this issue I would love to get this car running again. We love our 1998 neon.

 

Fuse #16 in the PDC under the hood, according to the repair manuals and shop manual, is the manifold tuning valve relay. Is the 2000 Neon an R/T model?

 

No it is not a r/t model that I know about. I thought it was something to do with the fuel pump?

 

Hmmm. What does the PDC cover say that fuse is then?

 

Sorry it may not be the #16 that is just what he had told me. It is the fp asd gas fuse? I am not so sure about what that even is other than the word gas. Please help!

 

Well, there is the fuel pump relay and ASD (auto shut down) relay. Those aren't fuses though...
