ok i have a 2003 neon sxt. engine light came on about 3 mos after i replaced spark plugs. checked code, cyl 1 misfire. replaced plugs again. day later cel on again, smae code, replaced plugs and coil pack. 2 days same thing. replaced wires, about 1 min til cel on again. run through battery of tests, valve not stuck no sign of leak, wires good, spark plugs fine, injector hose to throttle body needed replacement. all 6 rings jammed sideways inside. 20 mins later cel again, same code. cel stays solid when driving, but at idle blinks per sec. oh, and pcm is fine. now what? noone seems to know.

 

oh just hooked modus up again, po301, again, but went into cyl test. if giving gas, no misfires, but idle the counter goes up to 99 and restarts again. plz help

 

Have you done a compression test? How does injector pulse width look?
