A misfire doesn't make a car want to take off on it's own. That's probably a vacuum leak or a stuck throttle. A misfire will happen, and make the car run like crap, at all times; there's no misfire at idle or throttle only.

it doesnt over heat but i have noticed the ocational back fire and the car seams to be lagging, it doesnt take off very well from a stop it revs very high befor it shifts to 2nd gear
