what the difference between the 2002 and 2005 exhaust manifold? i saw a turbo kit i wanted but it was for a 2002 and i was told it wouldnt work? is there really that big of a difference does anyone know?

Yea that's what I thought I mean is there any difference in the motor set up or engine bay? It was for a hahn stage 2 I just don't get wehy it wouldn't work

yea well its from turbokits.com but they are both 2.0l i4 sohc so i am lost lol i just dont see the difference in the two lol i mean if i buy it yea i might have to modify the intercooler plumbing but thats not a big deal i just need to know about the manifold and downpipe right? i mean thats what really would matter making sure it fit correctly

 

and i mean its a price difference of 2200 bucks for the exact same size turbo and everything just for the 05 it comes with a upgraded fuel rail lol thats it according to their specs lol

 

Ok so I talked to the guy about this kit some more and he said isomething about it would take a lot of time fabricating to make certain thing fit but also said that the one for the 03-05 model has a portfueler system? I know the 02 kit comes with bigger injectors and and all but what is thed point in the portfueler would it destroy my motor if I didn't get it?

 

ASP turbo kits work on all 2gn Neons. No need to pay more for the same stuff. I've always heard mixed things about Hahn. Base kit is $3,700 and it comes with everything needed and is good to about 300HP.

 

I can't find one for that much I see some on ebay for. 1200 but kinda leary it say you need to weld the t3 flange to stock manifold??? I don't have a turbo manifold so how stock lol. What turbo kit would. You recommend darth I don't really know the difference in brands and all I just want a good kit ya know I mean I got 3500 I can drop no problem right now I just don't wanna drop 5 gs lol

 

Everyone I know who has bought one of the ASP Turbo kits has been happy with it. The "downside," if you want to call it that, is that it uses the Megasquirt system. You'll need to actually tune it. Give 'em a call and talk to them. 630.25.TURBO
