-I always gap my plugs. Even the one that goes in my lawn mower gets gapped correctly. I've found that while usually they are close or right on, sometimes I find them gapped way too close. Why not take about 45 seconds and just make sure?

Matt

That doesn't mean anything, but OK.

Some say gap and some are gapped already. I was doing some research on some plugs and a couple of plugs say gap like a kind of ngks and the plats need to be gapped. Just some are already gapped.

still wouldn't hurt to make sure. you get better performance and efficiency when the plugs are gapped right.

I usually try to use whatever kind of plugs come in the cars from the factory, I prefer Champs, but that's just me.

here's a vid from NGK with how they do their iridium plugs.. i've always done it the "incorrect" way because i always use copper. it's never given me any issues that way. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lk70oyUEftY

Any fine tip plug has to be done differently from others. Copper plugs: use a slide gapper or a wire gapper. Gap to spec. Done.
