Unhappy Noob!!!

Hello,
the names dylon. I am the proud owner of a 2000 dodge neon ES.
I have loved the neon since it's first induction to the us car list.
Yes i was four, but that only means i grew up with them.(lol)

My problem is that when im driving, or sitting, sometimes my gauges will start bouncing up and down. Not like a little up n down bounce either.
They will completely shut off, then turn back on, then drop down a little then shut off, etc..
My question is, does this come from a bad PCM or is it my cluster?

Also my fuse light comes on and i've checked every fuse from hood to trunk and none of them are bad.

Help me save my baby!
Thnx!!

Welcome to the site. I would pull out the instrument cluster and check the connections in the back first since all of them are acting up.

also check your charging system and BATTERY! these things are very picky when it comes to proper voltage.

Agreed on checking the battery first.

When the battery was in the process of dying on my `03 SRT-4, it did the very same thing Dylon's car is doing. Replaced the battery and it never happened again.

I've had a bad battery that caused more that weird gauge problems, and I've had battery wiring go bad and/or come loose a few other times that caused the gauge problems and then some as well.
